A busy-body who loves life and learning. Spirit Rider is one who strides to serve and share with others the skills, and knowledge gained from the challenges and measures that result from critically thinking through evidence, as can be obtained, then sifting through it for facts, while picking up the droppings of fiction to lightly season or provide color, to a well told real-life story. Challenges require knowledge (by degree) and spontaneity, creativity, in order to react or respond (preferred) with actions providing solutions that will benefit oneself or, especially, others. Interests are so many. Here is a list of some: Family; Home; drawing, painting, constructing, ice-hockey, sailing, surfing, climbing-rocks, hang-gliding; playing bagpipe and pennywhistle. Family & Home. Helping Others: community service history such as Civil Air Patrol, Community Hospital Board of Directors member, State Nurses Association VP and interim Pres., State Hospital Association Advisory Committee to the Governor; PROFESSION, or occupation, Registered Nurse, carpenter, ski team coach—competitor; Education Associate in Applied Science Registered Nursing, Bachelor of Arts Creative Writing and English (Magna Cum Laude, Creative Nonfiction). Did I mention, Home and especially Family (I miss being close to both). Special wishes include researching history, anthropology, social-cultural behavioral sciences, politics, and the world—or perceptions of reality dependent on the biased experiences affecting a people’s interpretation of it.
